With breath-taking views over Almscliffe Cragg and the surrounding countryside, this stylish property provides the perfect base to explore North Yorkshire and The Yorkshire Dales.

Elevated high above the hillside with magnificent views of Almscliffe Cragg and the surrounding Yorkshire countryside, this unique property is sure to set tails wagging. Based 8.5 miles from Harrogate with its eclectic vibe and abundance of possibilities, you’ll soon be experiencing the vibrancy of the iconic spa town complete with exciting walks through rural paradise. Beneath the impressive exterior is a contemporary retreat with sleeping space for four humans and one lucky pup.

Climb the steps and enter the wooden-clad abode to find a tasteful lounge/kitchen/diner that has been thoughtfully styled with comfort and relaxation in mind. Let Fido flop down by the bi-fold doors to watch the neighbouring rabbits scuttle about, tempting his taste buds with treats galore rustled up in the kitchen. Equipped with everything you need to prepare a feast, you’ll be able to whip up something tasty to enjoy at the table, or head outside and dine alfresco. The coffee machine is a particularly welcome sight first thing in the morning! There are two bedrooms that are crisply dressed and ready for slumber, and the bathroom is perfect for soaking weary paws. Outside, the BBQ invites you to sizzle up a storm and toast marshmallows in the embers, rounding off with a few games on the safely enclosed lawn.

Sniff out the uneven farm track as you explore your surroundings, tackling the craggy landscape and keeping your waggy-tailed friend close to heel as you pass resident livestock. There are dog-friendly eateries to be found amongst the bustling streets of Harrogate, or pack a picnic and discover the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Yorkshire Dales in all their glory, accessed via gateway villages such as Fewston 9.5 miles away.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

A much needed break in a great location. Fabulous views with amazing sunrises and sunsets. Lots of dog walking at Pateley Bridge, Brimham Rocks, Almscliffe Crag, Nidd Gorge and Coldstones Cut. Lots of pub lunches too;recommend the Shoulder of Mutton. The only negative was the heating didnt work during our stay. The owners tried their best to fix itRead more, but it wasnt to be. Hope they get it sorted before it turns really cold. It is very exposed here and the wind can be fierce. We did enjoy our stay Hide

We visited in September after giving up on our Greek holiday. This is a beautiful part of the UK and the house and views are amazing. Am amazing location, wrap-around views of the countryside with close proximity to Harrogate and the Yorkshire Dales. Hard to beat for 'getting away from it all'. The property was very comfortable and relaxing. However we were only the second guests to stay here and there were some areas which felt not quite ready.
