Situated on the edge of one of the country’s most spectacular natural playgrounds, this is the perfect location for a fantastic family getaway with your furry companions, sleeping four humans and two dogs. In every direction you’ll find activities to please all your guests (especially those of the four-legged variety), including fascinating nature trails, pretty market towns and plenty of dog-friendly eateries. In this spacious farmhouse you and your guests will never feel like you’re getting on top of each other, as there’s lots of room, both indoors and out, for you all to relax and enjoy the holiday.

The property is full of character, including stone flag floors throughout downstairs – ideal if dirty paws accidently make their way into the farmhouse! If your dogs are a bit damp, they’ll also appreciate the underfloor heating, which will help them dry off nice and quickly. There’s a spacious kitchen with loads of room for entertaining and for your dogs to make themselves at home. Doors open out onto the patio from the lounge, providing easy access to the large enclosed garden and meaning your dogs don’t have to go far if nature calls at an inconvenient moment!

The Peak District National Park is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. During your stay, you, your family and your bouncing balls of fluff could take a stroll along the Monsal Trail. This traffic-free path winds its way through some of the Peak District’s most stunning limestone dales and is dotted with dog-friendly pubs. There’s a car park at Monsal Head, just 11 miles away. Or, if you fancy being transported back in time, take the 16-mile journey to Crich Tramway Village – an awesome day for the whole family and dogs are even allowed on the trams!

We couldnt fault this property. Great value for money. We stayed over new year and the cottage was always warm, beds comfy and plenty of space for us and our dog. Owners were amazing and at the end of the phone if we needed anything. Will definitely be staying here again for future holidays to the Peak District as it was easily accessible from the Read morelocation. Hide

A beautiful, well equipped cottage in a very quiet location and a short drive to shops and other amenities. We were made to feel very welcome by the owner and the welcome goodies left for us were very thoughtful. Its worth noting that the garden is lovely but not secure for our dog to be off lead. A delightful property in an idillic location to access the Peak District and surrounding areas. Incredibly clean and comfortable throughout. Very peaceful location. The view opposite the house is a quiet country road so depending on the size of your dog you have be mindful part of the lower end of the garden wall is quite low due to slopping land. Great little cottage just off the tourist mega highway so feels nicely secluded without being too remote. Walking from front door is exceptional with trails in all directions. It was our first stay at Aero Cottage. We were very impressed. The accommodation was spacious and clean. It was nice to feel cosy and warm in the cottage while the wind and rain did it's worst outside! The underfloor heating was a treat for our feet and the dog. My greyhound thoroughly enjoyed exploring the generous, enclosed garden. Lovely, comfortable cottage in good position "away from it all". Excellent facilities and spotlessly clean. Friendly and welcoming owners and very nice touch leaving a bottle of wine, coffee and tea (though no milk! - but we had brought some!).
