Situated in the pretty Norfolk coastal town of Weybourne, this charming cottage is perfect for a family holiday by the sea. With waggy-tailed walks to the beach straight from the front door, this is the ideal spot for a family and their precious pooch.

This lovely, cottage-style property is full of period features and offers ideal accommodation for a family and their dog. The lounge has two comfy leather sofas for cosy family evenings in, and a wood burner which your four-pawed pal will love on a chilly evening. The well-equipped kitchen, with its exposed beams and Aga-style oven, oozes charm. Also downstairs is a shower room, which is ideal for cleaning sandy feet and paws after a day at the beach. There are two separate enclosed areas outside – a small, lawned garden at the front of the property and a pleasant courtyard at the rear, meaning there is plenty of space for your family pet to safely explore and enjoy the fresh air.

The pretty village of Weybourne has a local pub and a handful of shops as well as a lovely open stretch of pebble beach, ideal for a few games of fetch and some shoreline paddling. The nearby seaside town of Sheringham (3.5 miles) offers lots of shops and restaurants to explore and also has a lovely sandy beach for little feet and paws to enjoy. Nearby is the National Trust Sheringham Park, which offers acres of stunningly landscaped gardens, and is exceptionally dog friendly. Cromer (8.5 miles) is also worth a visit; try out the famous local crab, or just enjoy a relaxed picnic on the expanse of sandy beach.

Very dusty and dirty. Tins left with burnt on food in oven. House is right on main road so very noisy. Stairs leading from kitchen very steep.

Abbey cottage is in a nice location, the walk to the beach is lovely, however the cottage itself is rather dark, has lots of different levels on the lower floor and steep staircases to negotiate. The beds were very comfortable but the lounge furniture definitely wasn't. The kitchen was well equipped. The outside area was overgrown with weeds and theRead more furniture dirty. Hide

Really comfortable spacious cottage with a good homely feel about it. Lots of things to do and see for all tastes and interest without having to drive to far. Holt and Sheringham have a lot of good quality shops and places to eat, we had an evening meal in the Ship Inn in the village which offers great service and nice food.

Lovely quirky little cottage in a great location to explore the area. Clean and tidy with all hone comforts. Lovely and warm to come hone too at the end of a chilly busy day :). Walking distance to local beach. No parking on site , so loading and un loading a bit of a pain but parking of car around corner was easy enough. Very steep stairs in the hRead moreouse. Hide
