Traditional stone cottage sleeping three, located in the historic city of Wells, just a short walk from the famous cathedral and a choice of restaurants and bistros.

Situated in a fantastic location, featuring beautiful interior design and close to lots of amazing things to see and do, this property really does have it all! This traditional stone cottage dates back to the 18th century and, whilst it has been modernised and bought up to date, retains all of its original charm. Sleeping up to three guests across two bedrooms along with two lucky pups, this cosy home is the ideal base from which to discover everything this wonderful part of the country offers.

One of two cottages located in a quiet shared courtyard, guests entering the lounge will immediately feel relaxed and away from the crowds. A flame effect fire casts a warm glow around the room, with thick full-length curtains adding a touch of glamour. The open-plan kitchen/dining area is Smart, clean and well-equipped, containing everything you’ll need during your break here. The freshly made beds upstairs provide wonderful places to rest weary heads and the Victorian cast iron bed frame in the double room acts as a beautiful reminder of the cottage’s heritage.

Grab your lead and take the stroll into Wells – England’s smallest city. Here you will find an eclectic selection of independent shops and high-street names along with a range of eateries and watering holes. If shops are your thing, then you’ll love the dog-friendly outlet shopping centre that’s located just 8-miles away, with pups allowed to window-shop along with their humans (although not allowed inside!). Cheddar Gorge and caves are just an 11-mile drive and offer a spectacular day of nature, wildlife, history and adventure for all the family - even the four-legged members.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

There's a lot to like about this cottage. It's in a great location for the centre of Wells (which also means it's a on quite a busy road). It's well equipped, warm and cosy. The owners have clearly tried to think of their guests and provided lots of homely touches.

Lovely cottage, beautifully clean and comfortable- and so well equipped with everything we could have needed for our week's stay. Very well located in the centre of Wells. Wine and goodies awaiting our arrival were also most appreciated. Would definitely book again

What a lovely cottage in a great location, cosey and comfortable perfect for us and our dog Poppy. 3 mins from country side walks one way and the stunning cathedral and city. The city is dog friendly and the Crown was a regular pit stop for cider and food. We normally do beach breaks but we enjoyed the city and property so much we plan to return neRead morext spring. The owners very thoughtfully, put Christmas decorations around the cottage and left us some milk, cheese and Prosecco plus other Christmas treats!
