Beautifully presented property located in the peaceful village of Penwithick on the outskirts of St Austell. With so much to see and do this is the ultimate Cornish escape.

This beautifully-presented, fresh and funky property sits in the peaceful Cornish village of Penwithick. Sleeping six people over three bedrooms and welcoming one furry friend, it’s the perfect bolthole for a small family or group of friends who want to explore the delights of South Cornwall with their pup by their side. You’ll love the clean and crisp decor, and your pup will adore exploring the enclosed garden.

Step inside this property and you’ll find a welcoming entrance hall – the perfect place to towel-off any muddy paws after those long country walks. Head to the spacious kitchen/diner and cook up a storm for your loved ones. There’s plenty of room for everyone to dine together around the dining table. After a meal to remember, make your way to the large living room, where you can sink into the comfy sofa and enjoy your favourite movie. Alternatively, head outside to the patio area and enjoy a glass of wine as your four-legged friend explores the enclosed garden. At the end of a perfect day, there are three lovely bedrooms to choose from.

Your pup may not be allowed in the famous biomes at the Eden Project (2 miles), but there are miles and miles of outdoor paths for them to explore. The attraction was voted ‘Best Dog-Walking Destination in the World’ in 2018, so it won’t disappoint. You’ll also find plenty of water bowls and an undercover dining area where you can take your furry friend. Alternatively, there’s a lovely dog-friendly beach at Par (6.5 miles), which is also a great spot for swimming. And at the end of the day, there are plenty of dog-friendly pubs in St Austell (2.5 miles) where you can enjoy a pint with your pup in tow.

Generally good property with plenty of space in a good location. Weather was unfortunately wet and stormy but we could not order sunshine.

Lovely clean & tidy place to stay & well equipped. Near to several great places to visit. Supermarkets nearby & some good pubs for food. Lovely house to stay in, with lots to do in the surrounding area. Parking for 2 cars. The house was clean and had everything you could possibly need! Just pack dishwasher tablets. We stayed for a week and went to Charlestown harbour, Bodmin Steam Railway, Tintagel & Boscastle, Par Beach (dog friendly all year round) and Mevagissey. Family of 4 + grandparents. Ideal location for all places in our list, but a car is essential. Loads of places to eat out, would recommend The Brittania Inn and the local chippy. The beaches are all great and accessible. Carlyon bay has more beach facilities and water sports. The house is located within 30 mins of most attractions for children. Lovely house is in a great location for accessing Surrounding Cornwall attractions and beaches, however I wish I had known the road it is on is a rather busy through route to Bugle that majority of vehicles passed through at speed from early in the morning, not great if your a light sleeper, coupled with the lightness of the room due to no blackoutRead more blind. The house was well equipped with everything needed during our stay, even 2 fold up chairs & a windbreak which we used at the beach. Hide
