Bath is less than 10 miles away for soaking up the marvellous history and culture, yet there are plenty of walks nearby to cater for your four-pawed pals. There’s a handy dining space and a utility room for practicality, then you’ll have the lounge for relaxing by the wood burner. Steep cottage-style stairs ascend to the first floor where you’ll find a secret snug area and two bedrooms. Completing the property is a generous bathroom, and there is off-road parking for two cars.

For the history seekers, Farleigh Hungerford Castle 2 miles away welcomes pups on leads throughout the grounds and has excellent walking routes along the Frome River. The Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty are a natural playground for stick chasers and fell scramblers alike, but you’ll certainly not be short of walking opportunities as you explore Bath. The Bath Skyline walk (9 miles) offers stunning views across the entire city, plus Royal Victoria Park (11.5 miles) is certainly worth a sniff around thanks to its staggering 57 acres.
