For 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 young children this cottage is perfectly located for exploring the surrounding area. A little daytime traffic noise to get used to but all goes quiet at night and its great to be so central to shops and restaurants and all the other delights Pickering has to offer.

A well appointed cosy cottage close to all Pickering's amenities, and ideal for exploring the North York moors and coast. The allocated parking is an added bonus in an otherwise restricted area.

Beautiful well appointed accommodation, well located for the town and convenient for exploring further afield; the dedicated parking space is a real bonus. The town centre really is only 5 to 10 minutes walk away and there is a local store literally across the road.

I am afraid that it is hard to believe that we paid what we paid for the house. There were four beds in the house, but only seating for three people downstairs. One of us had to watch TV in the bedroom instead as we simply couldn't sit in the room together it was too small. One person also faced the wall as the room was so tiny. While the cottage was well appointed/clean but it was not clear from the description that the patio was very enclosed and not great for sitting and relaxing in the evening. The cottage was situated on a very noisy road.
