Situated close to a traditional harbour in a picturesque coastal village, this lovely cottage makes a fantastic base for exploring the beautiful coastline and countryside of Northumberland.

This stunning cottage, located just a few streets away from a picturesque harbour within the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is sure to set tails wagging with the option of both coastal and rural walkies. Sleeping four humans and one pup, everyone is invited to spend the day leaving an endless trail of paw prints on one of the nearby beaches, before returning home to dust off sandy paws and shoes and relax in style with a glass of wine.

Unwind on the comfy sofa in the cosy lounge with a salty seadog sprawled out in front of the wood burner, radiating warmth throughout the room. Head into the modern kitchen/diner and rustle up a tasty meal to enjoy around the table. Socialise and plan tomorrow’s adventures whilst Fido sniffs around the rear enclosed patio before you head over to the garage for a game of darts. Also in the garage is a stone sink and floor drain, ideal for towelling down a soggy pup or rinsing off beach equipment. Surrender to tired legs and drooping eyelids and head upstairs to one of the beautiful coastal-themed bedrooms. Awake refreshed and enjoy a morning coffee as you give your four-legged family member a well-deserved belly rub.

Journey the 4.5 miles to the renowned village of Bamburgh and race, scamper and amble along the seemingly endless stretch of sand past the imposing Anglo-Saxon castle that sprawls out towards the beach. Take a cruise on one of the dog-friendly boats leaving from the harbour only 0.5 miles from your home. Spot puffins, seals and other wildlife that inhabit the Farne Islands as you sail past and perhaps even glimpse dolphins in the bay if you are lucky!

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Its in a good position, minutes from the harbour and Main Street. Lovely well equipped kitchen, everything you need and it all looked new. Our overall view of the cottage has to be of having poor nights due to the hardness of the mattresses. Obviously mattress comfort is very subjective but all three of us found this a problem. Otherwise it was clean and handy for all local amenities and walks along the cliff top and to the harbour.

The house was very comfortable and well equipped and clean. Fabulous location for village amenities and also walks to either Beadnell or Bamburgh. The only issue was parking. Our designated space was used by someone else for the whole week, and often sandwiched in by people parking behind us in the space we had to park in behind our occupied space.

Lovely cottage situated close to the centre of Seahouses and the harbour. Well equipped kitchen which is clean and tidy. The cottage is a comfortable home from home. It is dog friendly...my dog enjoyed his stay. The two beaches are amazing and allow dogs. Lots of walks near by.

Nice cottage in a quiet area but close to the harbour and town centre. Excellent kitchen, well equipped and very spacious. The property was clean, well equipped & in a good location so we had a lovely break. We would have liked an outside space to sit in during the late afternoon/evening as the small courtyard does not get the sun at that time of day. We made do with the beer garden The Olde Ship Inn!
