The apartment is less than a mile from the centre of Penrith where you will find a variety of restaurants, pubs and independent shops. Attractions and landmarks in this historic market town include the popular Penrith and Eden Museum and the remains of Penrith Castle. A walk to Penrith Beacon offers breathtaking views of the region. Also nearby are Brougham Castle, Hutton-in-the-Forest and the National Trust’s Acorn Bank (all within 7.5 miles). Heading into the Lake District, you can visit Dalemain Mansion and Historic Gardens, Lowther Castle and Gardens, and the northern edge of Ullswater (all within 7 miles). On the way to the North Pennines, you can explore Lacy’s Caves (6 miles) and the Glassonby Stone Circle (9.5 miles).

Entering this impressive Victorian property, a shared entrance hall leads along to two flights of stairs which take you up to the apartment which occupies the second and third floors of the building. Stepping into the apartment, the bright and fully equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing your favourite meals, complete with an electric oven and induction hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The pretty king-size bedroom is also on this floor, along with the shower room which features a shower cubicle and WC. Further stairs lead to the third floor – please note this floor is set in the eaves of the house and has limited head room. There’s a cosy dining area and a light, tastefully decorated lounge with Velux windows offering a superb view over the town. The lounge also features plenty of seating and a TV with Blu-ray player, making this an ideal space to snuggle together, watch a favourite film, take in the glorious view or chat into the night.
