Welcoming man and dog with equal enthusiasm, this charming Yorkshire holiday home is a must-stay for any pup-loving pack. The property, which welcomes six human guests, also welcomes up to three canine companions. If you wish to visit with more of your beloved four-pawed pals, however, this can always be discussed with the owners. With walkies in the surrounding Yorkshire Dales always in plentiful supply, you’ll find tons of dog-friendly spots for chasing wildlife, fetching tennis balls and collecting sticks just a short walk away. And as the day draws to a close, the dog-friendly pub in the village (0.5 miles) can take the responsibility of cooking out of your hands.
Decorated in a traditional style throughout, this three-bedroom cottage offers an instant home-from-home for anyone who crosses its path – pets included! The open fire in the lounge will no doubt act as the cosiest spot in the house for your dogs. As you curl up in sofas and armchairs with the TV on, your dogs can feel the warm embrace of the fire as they drift off into a peaceful snooze. Let sleeping dogs lie and head upstairs to bed in the double room (with en-suite bathroom), twin room or bunk room, or to freshen up in the light and bright bathroom. And, when you wake up in the morning, the enclosed patio offers you a space to let the dogs out whilst you prepare breakfast.
Let the pups lead the way to adventure in magnificent Wensleydale, stepping out to discover a hike up Penhill (4.5 miles) or a trip to the handsome Aysgarth Falls (4 miles). From here you can let your doggos sniff their way along the River Ure, perhaps venturing all the way to the handsome market town of Hawes (12.5 miles) where you can pick up some delicious Wensleydale cheese and a meaty treat for your pups.
