Lose yourselves in the natural beauty of North Cornwall when you stay at this haven for both humans and hounds near Tregolds. The three-bedroom holiday home, which sleeps six guests and welcomes four-legged friends, is situated 4 miles from Padstow and 2 miles from the attractive coastline with its many beaches that pups, as well as people, can enjoy. Walk through the countryside with your hound at your heel or pick up the South West Coast Path or Camel Trail to tire out furry feet from the cottage.

Rub your chum down after his latest exciting excursion and enter the property to spend some quality time together. Feed him and prepare tasty meals for everyone else too in the modern kitchen. Lay the table in the lounge/diner, then relax on the soft seating to watch TV or a DVD, while your pal finds a quiet corner for himself. Bid him good night before making your way through to lay your head for the night in the double bedroom, the twin or the bunk room. There is a family bathroom for guests to share. Make the most of the fully enclosed garden by dining outside and playing fetch with your furry friend on warm days. Parking for this property is on the road.

Plan trips into Padstow to sit down to hearty Cornish meals in friendly pubs that will also greet your four-legged friend with enthusiasm. Follow the Camel Trail from here if you wish, either on foot or after hiring bikes and a dog trailer in the town. Venture 2 miles to Treyarnon Bay to have a day on the sandy beach, where your happy hound can also paddle in the sea and leave his prints on the sand. Porthcothan Bay, also 2 miles away, is another great dog-friendly option.

The location of the house is very good: everything is easily accessible by car, and the beach is only a few minutes away. The house is situated in a quiet area, with hardly any noise from the neighbours ideal for relaxation. The facilities are overall good: the kitchen provides everything you need for cooking. The garden is spacious enough for reRead morelaxing outdoors a barbecue would have made it even better. On the grounds, there is also a pub with very friendly people and a great atmosphere, perfect for a nice evening. Unfortunately, the cleanliness upon our arrival was well below expectations. Glasses were greasy, cups still had coffee or tea residues, and the oven and stove were greasy and stained. Coffee stains were visible on the kitchen surfaces, and the floors in the kitchen and bathroom were in need of mopping. Under the beds, we found old bottles left behind by previous guests and worst of all: a half-eaten chicken wing and a partly consumed lollipop. In this condition, we cannot recommend the house. However, after a thorough cleaning, it could be a very nice holiday home thanks to its location, facilities, garden, and the lovely pub on the grounds.Holidaycottages.co.uk response:- Thank you for your constructive review. We have spoken to the housekeeper and the issues mentioned have been addressed. Hide

We found 'Manassa' cosy, warm and relaxing during our New Year stay. Home from home and very well equipped for home cooking. The bungalow was christmas decorated including chocolates on arrival (we re-filled the bowl with new chocolates as a thank you). The tea tray and milk was a much needed welcome on our arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed the locatiRead moreon which is set within the 7 bays for 7 days. We visited Trevone beach which was a real treat, after 17yrs of visiting the area in the summer in our tourer we have always been unable to get near Trevone.
