This spacious five-bedroom property is located just outside the seaside village of Croyde in North Devon. With easy access to the beach and amenities, it’s the perfect holiday home for a large family, or group of friends plus one hound.

A sense of style sweeps through the interior with soft furnishings and splashes of colour creating a cheerful atmosphere. On the ground floor, there’s a handy wet room so sandy toes and paws can be washed clean before padding into the open-plan living area. With plenty of room for everyone to enjoy, you can relax on the plump sofas or cosy chairs while your canine companion stretches out on the floor. A wood burner keeps things toasty on chilly nights but when the weather is good, push open the double doors and let your pup roam outside. From here, an archway leads through to the chic kitchen where you can rustle up a meal and then serve it at the sociable dining table. A second, separate lounge is perfect for catching up on quiet holiday reading. When it’s time to retire, there’s a ground floor super-king-size bed, and four more lovely bedrooms on the first floor featuring a mix of king-size, super-king-size, and single beds. All the rooms are light, airy, and beautifully presented. In the morning, a tiered patio awaits where you can enjoy coffee and croissants while your pup stretches his legs on the large, enclosed lawn.

From the property, it’s less than a mile to Croyde village with its dog-friendly pubs and restaurants while Croyde Beach (1 mile) is good for morning walks on a lead (seasonal restrictions apply). Alternatively, pull on hiking boots and let your hound scamper along the South West Coast Path to Baggy Point (3 miles). There are more beaches to sniff out at Woolacombe (4.5 miles) and Saunton Sands (4 miles), and at both beaches you can let your pup can run to his heart’s content.
