Enjoy basking in the sunshine at this cottage near St Merryn in North Cornwall while your contented canine noses about the lawned garden. The three-bedroom, single-storey property sleeps six guests and makes a lovely holiday home for pups who like nothing more than spending time out in the great outdoors. In an excellent position for the south West Coast Path, it is also well located for reaching sandy beaches where four-legged friends can run and play without restriction.

Do your best to entice your delighted dog in from the garden and take him through to the lounge/diner with you to indulge in a little quiet time together. Let him stretch out and day dream about his next Cornish adventure, while you find something on TV for everyone to watch or put some music on so you can relax. The kitchen at this holiday home has all the equipment you might need to cook tasty meals for your friends and family, as well as space to feed your hungry hound. Have a long soak in the bath in the family bathroom after energetic dog walks, then head off for a good night’s sleep. There are two comfortable double bedrooms at the cottage, plus a bunk bedroom for children only. Set the picnic table for meals out in the fresh air on sunny days and throw a ball for your pet. There is private parking for two cars.

Make a few sandwiches, pop some dog treats in your pocket and strike out across the scenic countryside. The South West Coast Path is 2 miles away and can be followed in either direction. Wander 3.5 miles to Treyarnon Bay, where your furry friend can play on the sand, potter on the rocks and walk through the dunes with you at any time of year.

A nice well equipped cottage, good location for exploring local beaches. Plenty of good places to eat within 20mins drive.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bays Reach. The cottage is perfect, we loved all the little bits we received on our arrival, which was a really nice touch. The enclosed garden is perfect for the dogs and gives peace of mind and no escaping! Everything was nice and clean and well equipped. Close to lots of nice coastal walks and beaches. Extra information and extras provided Maps , details useful places to visit , thoughtful extras butter, eggs , milk, Prosecco much appreciated.
