Bring your perfect pet with you for an idyllic stay at this exquisite studio at Little Petherick, 3 miles from Padstow. Sleeping just two guests, the one-bedroom bolthole makes an outstanding, romantic retreat for a dog-loving couple eager to explore North Cornwall. Take your happy hound on walks through the Petherick Valley and along beside the creek, returning afterwards to bask in the sunshine of your private courtyard garden together.

Arrive at this delightful abode, which is next to the owner’s home but enjoys its privacy, to find homely accommodation for humans and hounds alike. The heart of the cottage is its open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where you can settle back on the sofa to watch TV, while your contented canine stretches out nearby. Put a little music on the CD as you dish up doggy dinners over in the kitchen area and perhaps rustle something tasty up for the two of you as well. Pat him goodnight then head through to the double bedroom to enjoy a great night’s sleep. Take your pal for a stroll the next day, returning to have a hot shower before breakfast and planning the rest of your dog-friendly day. Enjoy the last of the evening sunshine out in the courtyard garden, cooking supper on the BBQ and giving your chum plenty of puppy love.

Follow the Saints’ Way Trail for 2 miles into Padstow, where you can enjoy a delicious meal in a pub overlooking the harbour, and where your furry friend will also be welcome. From Padstow you can also pick up the South West Coast Path. Make a picnic, grab some dog treats and venture 4 miles from the cottage to beautiful Harbour Cove, where you and your faithful friend can paddle, swim and play ball on the beach, any time of year.

Perfect location for exploring North Cornwall, especially Padstow. The property is very clean and tidy. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful week in Cornwall especially my dog who loved the beaches.

Lovely retro feel , great base location for visiting nearby beaches and towns, good dog walks and local pub in St Issey very friendly good food and reasonable, nothing was too much trouble for the owners.

It was a lovely little cottage just needs slight updating, the outside space was ok for a little dog not ideal for an escape artist as very close to main road but on the whole really enjoyed our stay the hosts were lovely couple

This accommodation was warm, comfortable and cosy and while fairly compact (it is a studio apartment as advertised) had everything to hand. It seems crazy to need to mention but we were able to relax instantly at this property because it was a rarity in that everything worked properly. The wifi was good, the TV was tuned in with working DVD player,Read more the cooker was fully functional, the shower pressure was just excellent and very hot and the refrigerator was high quality and very quiet. Pots, pans and dishes were all high quality and clean. The owner did have to come over to fix a leak on Sunday evening, but was happy to do so and very friendly. The area itself is straight out onto beautiful walks with plenty of winter activities also within a 25-35 minute drive and is well situated amongst amenities with several pub/restaurants nearby, but check for opening times as these were not open on our winter break. I loved staying at this cottage studio tucked away in a small, cornish village - a gem of a location for single travellers with a small furry friend. The location is so peaceful, discretely tucked to the side of the owners house yet independent in every way.. own front door gate, and even small courtyard for coffee. The perfect hosts nothing was tRead moreoo much for the studowners if asked otherwise you wouldn't know or notice they lived next door. Enjoyed lie ins, dog walks, and the warmth of this cottage provided by underfloor heating wow. Even a winter break is a pleasure here. The property was very clean and homely and excellent for good walks and visiting Padstow , the owners were lovely , due to an emergency we had to visit Truro hospital and they kindly looked after our dog which was a massive help under the circumstances . I would definitely recommend.

A very cosy little cottage in a quiet small village setting. A separate part of the owners property who were always happy to help. Within easy reach of Padstow and a local supermarket both of which could be walked to. Had a super weeks holiday no complaints whatsoever.

A warm welcome greets you from the lovely owners of maltsters studio ,which is set in a lovely village ten minutes from Padstow,you are near enough to everything but just out of the hustle and bustle. Property very clean and well equipped with a small courtyard seating area which we used to bbq in a couple of times.
