This neat, two-floor apartment, located within a manor house, is situated in the rural village of Bradiford. Surrounded by woodland and overlooking the Taw Estuary, it’s a good choice for a family and two hounds wanting outdoor adventures, leisure facilities and tranquillity.

While impressive white columns and tall sash windows extend a grand welcome to this Regency residence inside is all cosy comfort. Floral drapes, a mantle, and framed artwork on the walls create a homely atmosphere and after a day exploring the North Devon countryside, the spacious lounge is the perfect place to unwind. Watch a film while Fido snoozes in front of the fireplace or enjoy chatting in the enclosed sunroom. Further entertainment can be found in the separate games room shared with other apartment guests. When mealtimes beckon, the spacious kitchen means your pup can keep you company while you rustle up dinner and then serve it at the sociable dining table overlooking the lounge. As night falls, head upstairs and choose between two pretty double rooms and a twin bedroom. In the morning, the garden setting will get tails wagging. The outside area is shared with other guests in the manor house but there’s plenty of room for everyone. Children can splash in the enclosed pool or bounce on the trampoline while Fido has a ball exploring the 69 acres of woodland.

Bradiford’s rural setting is perfect for walkies. Ramble through vast areas of woodland or take a stroll to the local pub for a drink with your four-pawed pal (1 mile). Alternatively, jump on the South West Coast Path and attempt the 10-mile hike to Baggy Point. Fido can also scamper across the shore at dog-friendly Saunton Sands (6.5 miles) followed by a bite-to-eat in the lively town of Barnstaple (2.5 miles).

The property was surrounded by hills and close to nice beaches. The owner was great, very friendly and always checking we were ok. The property was perfect for our family holiday.
