It was a lovely place with fabulous view. We really enjoyed the stay as was close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Apart from lack of crockery & cutlery and walls looking a bit tired as needed a refresh, we enjoyed it. The living room was comfy, TV in an odd place and old but that didn't bother us as we had fabulous harbour views. Bedrooms wereRead more clean and comfy. The only things I would say is it just needs a refresh on the walls and add in hand rails to help with ones that need help on the stairs. I would definitely stay again. Hide

Richards Song is a great place to stay especially the location. The views overlooking the harbour are amazing. It is equipped with everything you need. Richards Song just needs a few additions like a Smart TV to bring it up to the standard of other properties we have stayed at in St Ives.

Overall we had a great stay, some furniture a bit tired but useable and didnt affect our stay. Location was perfect which I why I picked this property but for the value I just expected a little more as other properties have been half the price and a lot better.. took our firestick with us as previous review stated not many channels although barely Read moreused it was handy to have. This cottage is all about the position. It overlooks the harbour, just a few paces from the sea, cafes and shops. The picture windows in the sitting room and dining room are fabulous. It is an old building with mostly small rooms and some low beams, a bit 'tired' in places but with comfortable beds, clean and a decent level of equipment (although aRead more smart TV would be welcome). The parking is in a large garage a couple of streets away - it is very tight to manoeuvre with pillars and awkward angles. (the risk of scraping the car was too high and we gave up - 16 for a week in the long stay car park was far easier). Information in the property was basic - and no welcome pack (no milk, tea, coffee...) This costs so little and smacks of penny pinching - at this price point at least. We had brilliant March weather and St Ives felt vibrant and looked wonderful - so much to see and do right on our doorstep (the bakery is a gem). Overall - recommended Hide

We had a lovely holiday and everything was just as we needed. The dogs loved being just next to the beach and there was plenty of room to put their crate up without impacting on living space. it was nice to have the living room in an elevated position and the view of the harbour and sea we fantastic. Would stay here again. Would recommend.
