This studio-style cottage has a cosy, open-plan living space where you can cook dinners and prepare packed lunches for long days out hiking in the Brecon Beacons (26.5 miles). There’s a TV, iPod and DVD for entertainment, or you could read a few chapters of your book on the comfy seats provided. The breakfast bar is set up so you can enjoy meals there if you’re not relaxing on the paved patio. Outside, the grassy lawn and bushy area are excellent for some energetic doggie antics while the humans enjoy a cold beer on the garden furniture provided.
You’ll be in a rural spot 2.5 miles away from the nearest shop. The historical town of Carmarthen (12 miles) is well worth a day trip; visit the castle with your pets then enjoy some lunch in a dog-friendly café. Your nearest beach is Llangrannog (14.5 miles) to the south, which permits dogs all year round. At Aberporth (15 miles), the main beach has some dog restrictions in place in summer while Dyffryn beach, near the River Howni, welcomes them all year round – your furry chums will soon be trembling with excitement at all the different options!
