There is a games room on-site, and the owners host special events and offer guided walks of the area.

The gorgeous fishing village of Staithes is 1.5 miles away with its picture-perfect cobbled streets, characterful fishermen’s cottages and dog-friendly pubs. Here the Yorkshire moors meet the coastline, creating dramatic cliff-top scenery that’s sure to get tails wagging. Head to picturesque Staithes Beach, where four-legged friends are welcome year-round or strike out along the Cleveland Way towards Runswick Bay (3 miles) for spectacular sea views and walkies of a lifetime. The cottage had everything you needed. Would have liked a small side table next to sofas. We moved and used a chair.
