A delightful and stylish barn conversion in the village of Croyde, a great location for watersports. The cottage is perfect for friends or families looking for an idyllic Devonshire getaway, with up to two four-legged friends leading the way to nearby Croyde Beach where they can roam the dunes and access the beach freely between October and April. A cosy wood burner and underfloor heating make this property an ideal choice all year round.

This attractive, two-storey house has a beautiful contemporary open-plan living area with real wood floors and exposed wooden beams. The lounge has two plush sofas to relax in and a wood burner where your four-legged companions can snooze while you watch a favourite movie together on the TV. A bi-fold patio door leads out to the garden from the living room. The dining area in the lounge offers space for cosy evening meals, and the kitchen is equipped with all you need to prepare memorable meals. Upstairs, there''s a spacious family bathroom and three bedrooms - a super king-size, a twin and a single. The hot tub on the patio is ideal for watching the sunset while you unwind with your favourite sundowner after a busy day at the beach.

With its dramatic rugged coastline, National Trust-owned headland Baggy Point (2 miles) is ideal for walkers, as is the South West Coast Path. A visit to Appledore (20 miles) is also worthwhile, and you can let your dog go mutts all year round at Saunton Sands. Beautiful cottage, superbly located for walking to Croyde beach, very comfortable and we were welcomed with a thoughtful luxury food parcel (yum!) and everything was taken care of. This was a perfect holiday location spoiled only by the ants occasionally making a bee line for things in the kitchen, though we managed to deal with them. Not the accomRead moremodations fault per se but given there is already ant poison in the outhouse seems to be a reoccurring issue. Hot tub was fab, bedrooms nice sized. The single bed duvet covers seemed a little bit overly worn and had wear holes in. Master bedroom bed was huge and overall we had a fantastic stay. Perfect to hop into town in seconds whilst also feeling secluded and peaceful Hide

Lovely little cottage in a fantastic central location. 2 minute walk to a great pub called The Manor (welcomes dogs) and a 1 minute walk to the couple of shops and other pubs/eateries. We had a Tesco delivery - just be aware there is nowhere for the Tesco van to park without blocking the road - so be ready to receive your shopping quickly. The parkRead moreing spot is tight but manageable - we have a Skoda Kodiaq. The walk to Croyde beach is around 15 minutes but does not accept dogs over summer. Saunton sands is 5 minute drive away and does accept dogs. Beautiful beach but a walk to the sea if you do not go at high tide. The cottage is small and cosy but is in need of a little TLC. The beds in the bedroom do take over the space, plus the staircase is quite steep so not suitable for people who struggle with mobility. The garden has a lovely hot tub and is not overlooked. The patio chairs, table and bbq were a great addition, but in the shade in the afternoon and evening. Lovely little welcome pack of milk, coffee, teabags, biscuits and fudge! Overall, a great stay. A well equipped comfortable cottage in a central location. Excellent spot for access to footpath to the beach as well as two local pubs and the local store. The hot tub was superb and a fantastic addition to our stay.

Very pretty and well equipped little cottage in the heart of Croyde village. Main bedroom has an oversized bed. There is no room to move! Parking is tight but manageable, just. I think it would be more difficult in high season. Nice garden, lovely hot tub, used in January. Also dog friendly which was lovely for us. Very comfortable beds and lovely bed linen and towels, but bedrooms are miniscule. Steep stairs. Bathroom scruffy. Location is amazing with walking from front door and several good eateries nearby. Several beaches are easily accessible and dog friendly out of season.

Lovely cottage but dont be fooled by the images it is very small and oversized furniture adds to this. Upstairs is very cramped but has comfortable furniture and lovely bedding. The bathroom needs to be refitted its dated and mouldy in places. Kitchen is well stocked and outhouse has drying area which is useful. The location is perfect and nice Read moreto have access to body boards and chairs if you havent brought them along. The biggest nightmare is the parking, you have to drive on onto shared parking area as its a one way narrow street and no where to turn. Its a shared drive anyway and the property to the right or the drive insist you dont park too close due to access to their property which is ridiculous given how tight it is. We ended up paying for parking in the car park as it was a nightmare and took 15 mins to be able to reverse off. Overall maybe if a couple, small car its lovely but not recommended for family. Hide
