Watch your perfect pal’s tail wag without stopping when you set out to explore the beautiful, shared grounds of this holiday home with him by your side. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom, dog-friendly cottage is set within a delightful building encompassing several private retreats. Situated on the fringes of St Merryn, less than 1 mile from the beach and the South West Coast Path, it is in an exceptional position for pups and their people who are eager to explore North Cornwall on foot.
Make your way into the holiday home to discover it has a reverse-level design to make the most of its picturesque, countryside surroundings and views out towards the sea. There are two twin bedrooms, plus a family bathroom, at ground-floor level, while the living accommodation is up on the first floor. Call your furry friend upstairs with you to find this is arranged as one large lounge/kitchen/diner, plus a WC. Let him pad about and explore while you unpack your shopping in the kitchen and decide what to prepare for dinner. Feed your faithful friend here too and pop any doggy beach towels into the washing machine. After dinner, unwind on the soft seating and enjoy a good film on the TV. Open the doors on to the balcony on fine days and perhaps have a glass of wine out here as the sun goes down. Soak up the sunshine out in the shared gardens too and let your happy hound play on the grass.
Spend sunny mornings on the stretching sands at Harlyn Bay, where your pal can bound free all year round. Tire furry feet out along a 5.5-mile stretch of the South West Coast Path, taking you around stunning Trevose Head, as far as Treyarnon Bay, with fabulous coastal views as you go.
