The property was in a great location with a really nice pub round the corner. It had good sized rooms and a lovely mezzinane floor which was really cosy. The main thing that let it down was the lack of cleanliness . I've stayed in several other properties booked through you and this one was by far the least clean of all.

Did not start well as could not get in until 4.30pm as the cleaner was running late. Then could not enclose the garden as the wooden gates were falling apart. This garden is barely enclosed and certainly not child or dog safe. Inside the shower tray had a lot of black mould which I had to clean before use. Also, the kitchen sink was tea and limescaRead morele stained which I ,again, had to clean before use. On the good side the toilets and bath were very clean as were the beds and bed linen. Some instructions on use of the equipment would have been useful. With a little more attention to detail and some repairs this would be a first class place to stay. Overall disappointing! Hide

Classy, spacious property. Kitchen well-equipped with quality items, both small and large. Whole barn tastefully decorated with intriguing ornaments and pictures. Location perfect for getting around North Norfolk, with many fascinating places to investigate, often surrounded by magical woodland. Several good take-away options in Holt and SheringhRead moream and The Red Hart, which is a stone's throw away, serves up a fine meal most days of the week; it also has great beer and an extensive outside area. Lovely barn conversion let down by poor quality of cleaning and provision of on site support. Several areas of mould in bathroom, beds unmade, dirty pans left on drainer, floors filthy, dog faeces on driveway. Rugs present slip hazard. Garden / courtyard not completely enclosed and certainly not secure for pets. Overall very disappointing.

A well equipped and comfortable cottage. Plenty of space to sit and relax. Great to have both a bathroom and separate cloakroom. The cottage is in a good location with easy access to both Holt and Sheringham . A great base to explore the North Norfolk coast. The nearby pub was also handy for drinks and food.

Lovely, spacious barn conversion in a great location with a fantastic pub only 2 minutes round the corner serving great food. Excellent location near to two beaches and National Trust properties. Lots to do and see in local area. Wish we had booked for 2 weeks!

Lovely barn, spacious, well equipped and in a great location, owner very helpful. Unlike another review, I can confirm there was plenty of wood if required for the first night and plenty of toilet roll.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Swallow Cottage. Ideally located for the north Norfolk coast and a friendly pub next door. What more could you want? Oh, a responsive and helpful host. Well it has one of those too! Absolutely recommend.

We enjoyed being at Swallow Barn very much. Tucked away from the road. Quiet at night. Heating very efficient and easy to manage.Location excellent for visiting places along the coast. Possible to walk from the house along the lanes - very little traffic - this might be busier during summer months.

A beautiful, peaceful barn conversion, just off the main road that is Central to all attractions. Within 5 mins drive of Sheringham & 13 mins drive of Cromer. Nearest supermarkets were in Sheringham. The Barn Conversion was tastefully decorated with all you need to kickback, relax & unwind. A great find. Highly recommended.
