Head out on long walks across the spectacular landscape of Bodmin Moor from this delightful, dog-friendly cottage in the scenic village of Blisland. Sleeping six guests, the three-bedroom retreat overlooks the village green, with its children’s playground, and enjoys its own enclosed garden where your happy hounds can play.
Take a step up to enter the cottage and let your faithful friend make his way inside. Put paws and feet up in the lounge after long walks, opening the French doors on to the garden on warm days. Find a film to enjoy on the TV/Blu-Ray DVD player, listen to music or play on the games console while your contented canine dozes. When mealtimes beckon, head through to the kitchen to prepare food for humans and hounds alike, then lay the table in the dining room, lighting the wood burner in the winter. Also downstairs is a family shower room and a utility room with washer/dryer for damp dog towels. Climb the main staircase up to a super-king-size bedroom, with TV. A second set of stairs leads up from the utility room to a twin room which in turn opens up into a bunk bedroom, with en-suite WC and fold-out extra bed for alternative sleeping arrangements. There is also a family bathroom here. Take your pup out into the garden when he awakes. Climb the stone steps up to the lawn so he can run about. There is parking for three cars at the cottage.
Grab a few dog treats and embark upon a 2.5-mile walk from the cottage to see the Trippet Stone Circle. Venture 6.5 miles to Colliford Lake, where you can stretch furry legs along the shores of the reservoir. Return from your excursions to enjoy refreshments at the village inn where four-legged guests are always welcome.
