We had a lovely stay in Kingfisher Cottage over the festive holidays. It is very cosy, and like a home from home with plenty of space. The small garden to the front was a bonus for our dog, and there is a beautiful view across to the other farms dotted on the hillside. It is a perfect location for visiting Pateley Bridge and many walks. It is alsoRead more convenient for Fountains Abbey. We would highly recommend Kingfisher Cottage and hope to stay again next year. Stayed at kingfisher cottage and cant fault it! Jenny is the best host and makes you feel very welcome, it felt like home away from home. There is everything you need inside the cottage. This is a gorgeous part of Yorkshire and enables you to visit some other fab areas like Whitby which is about 1.5 hours away, York and of course Harrogate. Not fRead moreorgetting, Pateley Bridge which is easily within walking distance. Theres a petrol station and sandwich shop. There is a museum too, but its only for a small number of hours and specific times of day so double check before hand! Hide
