Settle into a comfortable, homely cottage in the heart of the Lake District, with miles of dog-walking routes from your doorstep. After exploring the nearby mountains, lakes and woodland, stop off for a drink at a canine-welcoming pub in the popular town of Ambleside. When you return to your home-away-from-home, dine alfresco if the weather permits. Or put your feet up and watch a film on the Smart TV in the living room.
As you step inside the property, you’ll find a porch space for wiping down muddy paws. On the ground floor are the two welcoming bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms – one king-size and one twin. There is also an additional bathroom with a shower and WC. Upstairs is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which is a bright and airy space with a modern kitchen with an island to offer extra prep space. There is also a dining table and chairs next to two sofas. Outside is a private garden with plants and trees as well as garden furniture where you and your pups can relax.
The small village of Chapel Stile is home to charming blue-grey stone buildings, a canine-welcoming pub and a shop (both less than 200 metres) for picking up essentials. A pretty river runs beside the village, and on the other side of it is another village, Elterwater (0.5 miles), which has a cocktail bar, coffee shop and restaurant. The popular village of Grasmere is 2.5 miles away, where you can find a 1600s gingerbread shop. Ambleside is 4.5 miles away, has a host of outdoor shops and is on the edge of the iconic Lake Windermere where you can enjoy lovely waterside walks and a variety of water sports.
