Situated only 3 miles from the popular harbour town of Padstow, this delightful lodge offers families and their four-legged friends a tranquil spot away from the hustle and bustle. Located within the quaint hamlet of Little Petherick, you can soak up the countryside views and enjoy gentle strolls on your doorstep, but you can also head to the coast and enjoy clifftop walks, runs along the golden sand or a quick surf. Spend your evenings relaxing on the terrace with a BBQ, a glass of bubbly and a spot of stargazing.
Light and airy throughout, this property has more than enough space for up to seven guests and two canine companions. You enter onto the ground floor where you’ll find two of the bedrooms - a king-size and a kids’ room with bunk beds and a small single – and a bathroom. Heading upstairs, you’ll be greeted with a vaulted ceiling and floor-to-ceiling windows that emphasise the feeling of light and space in this beautiful open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. There is also a twin bedroom on this floor. When it’s dry, throw open the sliding doors and head on to the balcony, or make the most of the garden to the rear.
Keen walkers and their faithful friends will be pleased to know that there are plenty of walking routes nearby, including The Saints Way, a 27-mile path that passes through Little Petherick across Cornwall towards Fowey on the south coast. There is also the South West Coast Path for those that want to feel the wind in their fur. Nearby Padstow is a must with its working harbour, galleries, shops and eateries to suit all budgets, including Rick Stein’s restaurant and chippy. Or perhaps you’d like to indulge your inner seadog and take the ferry across the estuary to upmarket Rock.
