Escape to a cosy two-bed cottage with Fido for a relaxing coastal break in a charming South Devon seaside town. Discover the seafood restaurants, green spaces and beaches on your doorstep in the daytime and relax in this homely and welcoming holiday home in the evening – where you can dine alfresco or put your feet up in the lounge.

Inside the property is a compact but well-organised one-wall kitchen with cheerful tiling and plenty of natural light. After cooking a special meal for your loved ones, tuck in at the table in the dining room with coastal decor and access to the garden. The warm neutral-toned living room has a two-seater Ercol sofa and two armchairs plus a TV. There is also a separate WC on the ground floor. Upstairs is a family bathroom plus two bedrooms – a double with an en-suite and a twin room. Outside is a gravel courtyard with furniture.

Stay in the historic town of Paignton with an array of eateries and shops within 0.5 miles of your doorstep. Take your four-legged friend for a stroll around the nearby green spaces – such as Young’s Park (0.5 miles), which has a pond and Clennon Gorge nature reserve and Clennon Valley Lakes (1 mile). Explore the numerous swimming spots in the town – Fairy Cove (less than 0.5 miles) and Goodrington Beach North Sands (1.5 miles) are both canine-welcoming all year round. Take a picnic to Roundham Head Cliff Gardens (less than 0.5 miles) for spectacular views of the coastline and access to the South West Coast Path.
