Return from scenic walks with your delighted dog to luxuriate in the comfort of this exquisite Suffolk character cottage. Sleeping just two guests, but also welcoming a canine companion, the one-bedroom bolthole, which has a charming outdoor seating space, makes a perfect base for those hoping to explore the area with a hound at their side.
Open the front door and make your way into the comfortable Edwardian retreat, leaving the lead in the hall and taking your pup through into the kitchen/diner. Top up his water bowl in here, feed him his dinner and start preparing a romantic meal for you and your loved one to enjoy later, as you watch a little TV. Make your way up to the first floor of the cottage to find the lounge, which has another TV and wonderful views out across your surroundings. Relax in here with your furry friend after your exciting adventures together. Open the doors to the balcony on summer days. There is also a family shower room, separate WC and super-king-size bedroom with TV and en-suite bathroom, at this level. This bedroom can be made up as a twin by prior arrangement. A second lounge, with a desk and extra TV, can be found on the top floor, up steep, cottage-style stairs. Have breakfast out in the fresh air on sunny days, while your contented canine keeps you company. There is parking for one car at the cottage.
Stroll just 0.5 miles from the cottage to spend time at dog-friendly Snape Maltings, where there are different shops and galleries to browse in, as well as eateries that welcome four-legged customers. Head 9.5 miles to visit the National Trust’s Sutton Hoo and explore the grounds, once home to a royal Anglo-Saxon burial ground, with your four-legged friend.
