Three guests and one dutiful doggo are welcome to enjoy a relaxing stay in this lovely Devonshire cottage. Part of a larger farmhouse property, this wonderful one-bedroom space is all laid out on a single floor with only a few internal stairs between rooms, perfect for older pups who struggle with traipsing up and down full flights of stairs. Your canine companion will have a wonderful time exploring their surroundings, whether you’re relaxing together in the lawned garden or curled up by the TV.

This compact and yet thoughtfully laid out cottage is certain to set tails wagging from the moment you arrive. Inside you’ll find a cosy space to call your own, including a galley kitchen with plenty of room to store your dog’s bowl and treats, a lounge with sofas to kick back on and a family bedroom made up for three guests with a double bed and a single. The spacious family bathroom is a great spot for a relaxing soak in the bath. On sunny days, you can relax in the enclosed garden with a bistro set, a wonderful spot for hanging out with your pup whilst sipping a morning coffee. In addition to this outdoor space, a stay here boasts access to a large nearby field, perfect for exercising your pup on days when you don’t want to venture far from home.

The surrounding Exmoor National Park is just waiting to be explored, a marvellous Devonshire beauty spot with countryside and coast simply waiting to be sniffed out. For dog-friendly beaches, your best bet is to head to Lynmouth (5.5 miles). Surrounded by woodlands, this stunning shingle spot offers year-round access for all four-pawed pals. From here you can also take a trip on the Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway, an extremely popular and entirely dog-friendly attraction.

Wonderful stay in this farm cottage. It was warm and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. After breaking my leg severe mobility problems so as on one level so ideal for me. Also a lovely touch on arrival leaving us a bottle of wine, homemade fudge, milk and seasonal flowers.

The cottage was lovely and quirky. We were very comfortable and it was very cool during a heat wave. The location is great for walking, we walked to Lynton and got the bus back practically to the door. Local pub and community cafe/shop both superb. If the teapot had been bigger it would have been perfect!

The accommodation matched our needs and the owner was very supportive in our time there. The locations was very good for reaching many places on the north coast. Also the local pub was only 250yds away.
