This cottage in Whitby has plenty of character and space enough for four people and a dog in two bedrooms. It''s full of charm, as befitting its location on a cobbled street, and just a mile from all the shops, pubs, and restaurants that Whitby has to offer. Its beach is a haven for dogs that love to go swimming, or simply love to run around burning off energy in the sea air.

The property is set out over three floors. The ground floor has an open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner. With a TV and comfortable sofas, plus a wood burner effect electric fire, it’s easy to relax here after a day out enjoying Yorkshire. The kitchen has everything you should need to rustle up delicious meals on holiday. On the first floor, there is one bedroom with a double bed. The property’s bathroom is on this level too with a shower over the bath. The second floor has a twin bedroom and feature beams in the eaves. Outside, the property benefits from a charming patio with garden furniture – the ideal place to let dogs out when they need it, but also to enjoy al fresco dining when the weather allows.

Whitby has long been a popular choice for visitors. Its sandy beach is stunning, but there’s so much to see and do here too. Whitby''s Abbey has to be seen to be believed, while the delicious seafood on offer in many of the dog-friendly cafes, pubs and restaurants is a must-have. You can even see the fresh catch down at the harbour if you get up early enough in the mornings.

Lovely little cottage, full of character. Loves that the original wallpaper on the stairs had been left on show! Was a lovely touch to have a potted history of the cottage.
