With one or two canine companions welcome to join you, every member of the family can enjoy a wonderful break in the West Country, whether it’s stretching legs on the lawn or getting competitive at table football.

Decorated in a contemporary style, a large lounge/diner with breathtaking views is at the heart of the home. The space is bathed in natural light, thanks to patio doors opening onto the terrace, and there is plenty of comfortable seating for relaxing with loved ones. Rustle up a tasty meal in the stylish kitchen to enjoy together around the dining table, or head outside to the decked terrace, complete with covered space for hosting al fresco dinner parties and family celebrations. Also on the ground floor, you''ll find a games room with table football and a PlayStation – the ideal place for children to enjoy a bit of independence. Three bedrooms – a double and two twins – are located on this level, along with a bathroom, a wet room and a handy utility room. The remaining bedrooms are located on the first floor. They comprise a king-size with French doors opening onto a wonderful roof terrace with beautiful sea views, a king-size with an additional single bed and its own en-suite shower room, and a fun-filled bunk bedroom that children will adore. A chic shower room completes the accommodation. In addition to the decked area, the lawned garden offers plenty of space for a game of fetch.

A 1-mile stroll will bring you into the centre of Lee Bay, where you’ll find a welcoming traditional pub serving local ale and Devon cider with water bowls on hand for Fido. Dogs are also welcome too on the craggy cove at Lee Bay, an idyllic spot for a picnic or rock pooling. From here, you can join the South West Coast Path and sniff out adventure along the dramatic clifftops to reach Ilfracombe or Mortehoe (both 3 miles). For a slightly livelier atmosphere, head to the seaside resort of Woolacombe (3.5 miles), home to cafes, pubs, gift shops and restaurants. The 3 miles of Woolacombe Beach are open to four-legged friends year-round, excluding a small section directly in front of the car park, so you''ll have plenty of space for Rover to run!

Beautiful location and such a comfortable place to stay. We were a big group of friends with kids and the additional games room really helped ensure there was space for all. Would definitely revisit- the local area is stunning and there's so much to do. The cottage is a gem.

Lovely holiday let which we used for a family getaway. Roomy and comfortable, very well appointed for all of us including our dog Lovely view over the valley from the back terrace and some sea views from the balcony Has everything you need including games room, board games etc

The house was fabulous. Fantastic views, well equipped, spacious and a wonderful place to celebrate my parents golden wedding anniversary. We are already planning a return trip.
