Dine inside or out, at either the spacious dining table or the garden''s outdoor furniture whilst Fido explores the immaculate herbaceous borders. One of the bedrooms is located on the lower ground floor (with level access from outside) and comes complete with its own en-suite shower room. The three remaining bedrooms – a double with en-suite shower room, twin, and single – are all located on the ground floor, along with the colourful family bathroom.
Perched on a hillside, the historic village of Appledore welcomes visitors to explore its attractive maze of winding streets lined with pretty pastel-coloured houses, galleries, restaurants, tearooms and cafes. Make sure to visit one of the excellent local pubs, where four-legged friends are welcome to join you at the bar. For a day a the beach, take a ride onboard the seasonal ferry across to Instow’s sandy shores. In the summer months, there is a dog restriction zone on Instow Beach, but there’s plenty of space outside of this area for hounds to roam. Alternatively, the northern end of Westward Ho! Beach offers year-round unrestricted doggie access, 2.5 miles away. Take the 13-mile road to Clovelly, where you and your pup on a lead can experience life in a traditional North Devon fishing village at this unique preservation project with cobbled streets leading to a working harbour set against a dramatic backdrop of cliffs and ocean.
