The village of Kingsdown is just 3 miles from Deal, where the North Sea and English Channel meet – enjoy a stroll on the pier or along the pebbly beach that’s dotted with boats and beach huts. Less than 7 miles in the opposite direction, Dover is famous for its white cliffs and castle – dogs on leads are welcome within the grounds.
