A bright and light apartment, perfect for a couple and their dog looking to get away from it all in this quiet spot of Yorkshire. The apartment’s high vantage point gives it fabulous views of the surrounding farmland, having once been part of an original weaver’s barn. There’s plenty to do nearby on the farm itself for a dog, but the rolling hills and the Pennine Way National Trail is accessible from here too.
Enter through a small entrance hall with plenty of storage – perfect for muddy boots and wiping down paws. Head up the stairs to the first-floor living area; where there is also a stair lift should you need it. The open-plan living area comprises a lounge, kitchen and dining room. There’s everything you need to self-cater whilst on holiday, as well as a TV with a DVD player and a dining table and chairs. The bedroom is a double which enjoys an en-suite shower room. The property has a shared south-facing patio with garden furniture and a BBQ where guests can make the most of the views. It also benefits from a child play area and a lockable barn for secure cycle storage.
The farm where the cottage is situated is just above the small village of Cowling. Skipton, the market town with plenty of cafes and dog-friendly pubs, is just 9 miles away, with Haworth, once the home of the Bronte sisters, 10 miles distant. Any dog guests will be glad of a trip to the Yorkshire Dales, only 15 miles away.
