With its own private enclosed garden and easy access to the glorious golden sands of Croyde Bay, this delightful cottage is the perfect coastal retreat for couples or a family alongside one or two furry friends on the spectacular North Devon coast.

Feel right at home as soon as you enter this warm, inviting chalet-style cottage. The open-plan living space is the sociable heart of the house, ideal for relaxing with loved ones on the comfortable sofa seating or alternatively, you can gather around the dining table to plan the next day''s activities. Cook a delicious meal in the fully equipped kitchen, then dine alfresco on a warm West County evening at the garden''s bistro-style table and chairs whilst Fido safely explores the fully enclosed borders. At the end of the day, take a long relaxing soak in the stylish bathroom before heading to bed or basket in one of two attractive, light-filled bedrooms.

The golden sands and rolling dunes of Croyde Bay are less than a mile from your door, and though this beach is only open for doggie visitors between 1 October and 30 April, at nearby Saunton Sands (2 miles), you can have a ball year-round with over 4 miles of sweeping shoreline to sniff out, excluding one small zone with a seasonal dog restriction. Alternatively, join the South West Coast Path that leads to inspiring cliff-top scenery and far-reaching ocean views on a walk that will certainly get tails wagging. After all that exercise, you will be in need of refreshment, and many of Croyde’s pubs and cafes are happy to receive visitors with both four legs and two. The high moors and wooded valleys of Exmoor are also within easy reach, where hounds and humans alike are welcome to roam.

My family and I (+1 dog) had a wonderful holiday in Croyde. The propertys location is fantastic. A short walk to Croyde Beach (dog restrictions apply), also a short walk into Croyde village to enjoy the local amenities. Saunton Beach is only a 5 minute drive from the cottage, a fantastic beach and very dog friendly. Likewise Woolacombe Beach is vRead moreery dog friendly too, a 15 minute drive. All the beaches are very beautiful. The cottage was great for our family , 2 adults, 2 children (11 and 13), it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was just the right size. I would certainly recommend the cottage as a holiday stay and the area is utterly beautiful and made for a very memorable family holiday. Thank you. Hide

Fantastic location. Great place to stay with dogs. Shame there wasn't an enclosed garden but our dogs were happy to chill indoors after long walks. Everything we needed was there.

We had a problem with the shower unit which wasn't ideal after the beach etc. It was repaired on the Monday but the problem reappeared by Wednesday and the unit was removed on Wednesday but NOT replaced until Friday afternoon!

A lovely, clean and cosy cottage. The furnishings were very comfortable and the cottage had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Its proximity to the village and the beach was perfect, with great access to good walking footpaths to either. Great walks all across the area and whilst the dog was not allowed on Croyde beach (Summer months), SaRead moreunton, Puttsborough, Woolacombe and Instow beaches were well within very easy reach and gave us and the dog hours of enjoyment. Favourite places to eat were the various pop up food vans in the area - the Beach Cafe does an amazing breakfast and Sri Lankan curry and is just a 5-10 min walk (turn right out of the property) also Cluck and Biffens kitchen over near Oceans Pitch campsite. The garden is pretty non existent (a mound of grass ) and not dog friendly i.e not enclosed. Hide

The property was very clean and tidy. The beach was a 5 minute walk without any road walking. Croyde beach is just one of 3 fantastic local beaches. Ideal for dogs. The look on our dog's face when putting her crate down when we were leaving was heart breaking.
