There’ll be no need to leave Rover in kennels when booking your next St Ives getaway, this fantastic first-floor apartment welcomes four guests and one dog. Throughout the winter months, you can exercise your dog on the glorious Porthminster Beach which is mere metres from your front door. And for those stays during the summer, you’ll only have to wander 1 mile to Bamaluz Beach to find a sandy bay with absolutely no dog restrictions. Regardless of whichever month you visit, cafes, shops and pubs in St Ives are incredibly dog friendly, and walkies along the South West Coast Path is always a win for your four-pawed pal.

With sandy paws and wet fur in tow, you’ll be pleased to find that the entranceway and lounge/kitchen of this contemporary apartment are both fully laminated, so there’ll be no worry about ruining carpets when returning from the beach. Give your doggy a good wipe down with their towel before letting them head inside to curl up somewhere cosy. Whether you’re dining at the table or sitting with your feet up on the sofa or armchair, we’re sure you’ll find man’s best friend positioned loyally at your feet. Be sure to pack your dog’s favourite bed from home, letting this sleeping dog lie in the lounge as you discover a double bedroom and a bunk bedroom just down the hall.

Soak up the artistic atmosphere of St Ives with a mosey around its cobbled streets, stretching your dog’s legs first thing in the morning and perhaps picking up some Cornish pasties for breakfast. Further afield, you can explore an abundance of walks along the South West Coast Path (1 mile), following clifftops and coves along the coastline to discover mind-blowing seascapes. Be sure to take the short drive to Mexico Towans (7.5 miles), a wide stretch of beach welcoming dogs all year round.

Good location, the hill really doesnt bother us! We love Porthminster beach so an ideal location. Easy walk into St Ives town although the hill could be a struggle for those with mobility issues. The option of parking is helpful however the station car parking is in easy walking distance. The kitchen is well equipped. Good size bathroom.
