With a wonderfully light and airy seaside feel, this attractive property is the perfect coastal destination for a gathering of friends or family alongside a four-pawed pal in the heart of popular Southwold. Discover spacious rooms, thoughtful design and a lovely private garden at this charming home away from home.

Step into a world of traditional charm and chic styling in this stunning holiday cottage which spans three floors with ample space to relax and unwind with your loved ones. As you enter the ground floor, a well-equipped kitchen/diner awaits, inviting you to cook up delicious meals and enjoy them together at the farmhouse-style six-seater dining table. After dinner, head through to the lounge, sink into comfortable sofas and enjoy a family movie night. For added convenience, a sleek shower room is also located on the ground floor. As you ascend to the first floor, two sumptuous bedrooms await, each offering its own unique charm and comfort. At the end of the day, indulge in a relaxing soak in the roll-top bathtub in the adjacent bathroom. On the second floor, the master bedroom awaits with its ornamental fireplace, elegant bay windows, and a plush double bed. Here you’ll find plenty of storage space and a sparkling en-suite shower room to refresh and revitalize your senses. Outside, there’s an enclosed garden at the front of the property, with a suntrap patio area offering ample seating and a parasol for enjoying those tranquil moments sipping on a morning coffee or sharing an al fresco meal while Rover investigates new scents.

If you''re visiting Southwold with your furry friend, you''ll be pleased to know that there are plenty of dog-friendly activities to enjoy in the area. One of the best places to start is Covehithe Beach to the north of town, where playful hounds are welcome year-round. If you''re looking for a scenic walk to get tails wagging, the Southwold Circular Walk is a great option. Covering a distance of around 3.5 miles, the trail takes you along the coast, through the countryside and back into Southwold. The route is clearly marked, and there are plenty of places to stop and take in the stunning scenery along the way. If you''re looking for a longer hike, the Suffolk Coast Path runs along the coast for over 60 miles, taking in some of the most beautiful scenery in the area. The route starts in Lowestoft and ends in Felixstowe, passing through Southwold along the way. After all that activity, head to one of Southwold’s pup-positive pubs, where canine companions are welcome to join you. In some, you''ll even find a doggy menu, so your furry friend can also enjoy a treat or two.

We enjoyed staying at Rowan Villa, the location can't be beaten. Didn't have a problem finding a second parking space on the street. Lots of equipment available. Photos give the impression the top double bedroom is bigger than is but the other two bedrooms are lovely sizes. The house was much cleaner than the previous house in Southwold we had rentRead moreed for 3 years. Hide

We loved Rowan Villa, the location was great and the house was so warm, comfortable and nicely furnished. As regular visitors to Southwold, we, 6 adults, 1 baby and 2 small dogs will definitely book this delightful cottage again, the front garden was lovely and secure too. Seeing the lighthouse in the same road is a bonus!

The house was spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable . We really appreciated having 3 bathrooms. We enjoyed our stay and trust that the comments above be acted upon as these are the only issues that would stop us for recommending this property or returning

The property was well situated close to the beach and the shops. The one parking space was welcome. The bedrooms and bathrooms were good. The ground floor could have been lighter and more attractively and comfortably furnished. The photos online were a bit deceptive.

A charming, wonderfully located and very spacious cottage. The downstairs shower / wet room by the back door is very handy for families returning from the beach!

A rustic cottage clean and tastefully finished. Very well equipped in the Kitchen, perhaps only falling short on drinks glasses with only two wine glasses and prosecco flutes that we could see. Overall very comfortable and perfectly located for the Beach, Pier and pubs etc - would recommend.
