Your puppy pal will simply adore running with the sand beneath their paws in a once-in-a-lifetime stay on the Cornish coast. Welcoming both humans and pets alike, this two-bedroom property offers a top-dog place for a pack of five (four humans and one dog, of course) to call their own. Set off each day to sniff out stunning locations on the Cornish coastline, including the wide golden sands of Fistral Beach and pet-friendly cafes and pubs found dotted along the coastline.

Put one paw in front of the other and step into this instantly welcoming holiday home. Having spent the day on the beach, surfing or catching tennis balls, the cosy lounge awaits you for a night of undisturbed relaxation. Throw a log or two on the wood burner and bagsy your favourite sofa spot or armchair and let your sleeping dog lie in front of the warm fire as you switch on the TV. Feeling suitably warmed up and satisfied, leave Rover relaxing in their doggy bed as you venture down the hallway and into two bedrooms. Completing the accommodation is a pretty garden that’s unenclosed, so be sure to keep a keen eye on your escape-prone pup.

Said garden offers delectable sea views and direct access to a footpath leading straight down to Mawgan Porth Beach, so pack up tennis balls, doggie treats and beach equipment for a day on the sand. You can also admire scenes of the sea as you embark on daily walkies, perhaps following the coast up to the National Trust spot of Carnewas at Bedruthan (1 mile) and continuing along the South West Coast Path from here. If your dog is happy to jump in the car for short journeys, pack up a picnic and head to Fistral Beach (7 miles) or Watergate Bay (3 miles) for a chance to watch surfers riding the waves.

What a delightful little cottage Seacrest is? From the minute we walked in, we felt right at home. With a lovely, slightly "retro" feel, it was so cosy with stylish soft furnishings and beautiful lighting, the gorgeous sofa was perfect for an afternoon snooze! The logburner made January days extra cosy but the storage heaters are really efficient Read moreand warmed the house very quickly when we needed it. We took our dog so the lovely long garden was a bonus and made it easy to get out onto the path down to the beach at the bottom. Small but perfectly formed, the cottage has everything you need, ideal for two people, I wanted to move in! Hide

Fantastic location, incredible views and beautifully decorated cottage. The cottage had everything we needed including a brilliant log burner and views towards the sea. We loved staying here and hope to book again soon.

Third visit to Seacrest. Lovely little cottage. 10 min cliff path walk from the garden to access to beach, surf, cafes, pub, fish & chips and the village shop. Porthcothan, Padstow, Watergate, Newquay etc only 15-20 min drive away. Wood burner was a great cosy extra for our October stay.

Quirky and quaint this cottage was very well equipped and had everything we needed. We slept really well and so did Dave the dog. Interesting and lush garden which was almost dog secure but we managed to block off where our little dog could hop over into next doors garden. A walk down to the beach via the back garden turning right and following theRead more road down was convenient, but coming back up is challenging in the lovely heat! The beach is wonderful and the surf a joy! A really lovely holiday even though it took us 10 hours to get there. Coming home we did it in 6 hours, Hide

A lovely property furnished with a typical cornish style which added to the holiday. There was an issue with parts of the garden being a little overgrown with it being towards the end of the season, but within days of contacting the specified person given in the information pack, someone attended to mow the lawn and cut back the offending foliage.
