Ideal for couples or a family along with their four-legged friends, discover wonderful beaches, spectacular cliff-top walks and the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, before returning to your warming wood burner.
With a subtle mix of traditional and contemporary furnishings and decor, you will feel right at home in this charming property. There is a spacious open-plan living space on the ground floor, perfect for spending quality time with loved ones. The lounge area has two full-height Georgian windows with pretty wooden shutters that overlook the garden. The roaring wood burner is sure to be popular with the pooch, as is the large lawn with plenty of space for a game of fetch. Whip up a delicious meal in the fully equipped kitchen, then dine inside or out either at the breakfast table in the kitchen or the garden''s lovely picnic bench. From the living room, stairs lead up to the first floor, where you will find two light and airy bedrooms and a contemporary family bathroom, ideal for soaking tired legs at the end of the day.
Though small, the village of Mortehoe is home to numerous shops, cafes and restaurants. There''s a handy fish and chip shop if you don’t feel like cooking and a welcoming local pub where Fido can join you at the bar. The lively beachside village of Woolacombe is under 1.5 miles away. There are lots of cafes, pubs and restaurants to try and the sweeping golden sands of Woolacombe Beach are open to hounds year-round. There is a seasonal dog restriction on the section of the beach in front of the car park in the summer months; however, this is a very small area in comparison to the size of the beach, and there is plenty of space for Rover to roam outside of this zone. For walkies to remember, join the South West Coast Path and head out towards magnificent cliff-top scenery and inspiring ocean views on a journey to get tails wagging.
