If you are seeking a classic seaside holiday, then look no further than this welcoming family home that invites you and your four-legged friends for a wonderful break on the Cornish coast. Have a ball on the region''s stunning beaches, lead the way to adventure along the South West Coast Path and sniff out some fresh local produce in nearby Padstow.

Open the door, step inside and feel right at home in this wonderfully light and airy property with cosy corners and plenty of places to relax. Sit back and take in the garden from the glorious sunroom or curl up on the living room sofa in front of the warming wood burner that''s sure to be a hit with the hounds. Prepare a delicious meal in the sociable kitchen/diner or head outside to dine alfresco using the BBQ and outdoor furniture whilst Fido safely explores the fully enclosed garden. Soak tired legs in the family bathroom''s tub before heading to bed in one of four bright and breezy bedrooms. A room with twin beds is on the ground floor and up on the first floor, you will find a king-size en-suite master, a delightful double and a bunk room that children will love.

For families with canine companions, the golden sands of Constantine Bay are hard to beat, with unrestricted access year-round. The beach is 0.5 miles from your door, where you can fill your days with rock pooling, surfing, sandcastle building and swimming. There is a handy village store for everyday essentials and a surf shop where you can hire wetsuits and surfboards to take on the Atlantic rollers. A visit to the popular harbour town of Padstow is a must, 4.5 miles away. Renowned for its seafood, the town is home to a traditional working harbour and many outstanding restaurants, including that of a famous TV chef. For a more low-key dining experience, grab a bag of fish and chips and watch the fishing boats come and go with Rover by your side. To stretch the legs, strike out along the South West Coast Path towards cliff-top scenery that will get tails wagging. Alternatively, hire a bike and take your hound for a run along the beautiful Camel Trail that follows the course of the River Camel from Padstow towards Bodmin.

Wonderful holiday cottage. Great location. Absolutely loved the outdoor shower to get rid of sand. It was great to be able to bring our dogs and have a real family holiday.

Very practical spacious house, nice to have 3 bathrooms. Large kitchen. Excellent and quiet location. Plenty of space for lounging with lounge plus sunroom, sun room furniture, although more basic, was more comfortable than the soft lounge sofas. Great for dogs, with simple fully enclosed rear garden and easy walking access to dog friendly beaches,Read more saves the nightmare of parking apps in the Padstow area generally! The curry house at St Merryn is truly excellent, the pub is sort of OK but beware you have to register your parked car's reg details at the bar (sometimes) Hide

It was a fabulous house for 7 of us family, all blended into separate areas of the house and garden so no-one felt they couldn't do their own thing. Wonderful to be so near to the great shop and beach 10/10 for cleanliness

2nd time we've stayed here, the property is clean, spacious and great for dogs with a large secure garden. Location is perfect to walk to the beaches and coast path, didn't need to use the car for days! Would recommend to others.

Kittiwake is a lovely house for a family stay. We had a super week and found the house well equipped and spacious. A large utility room was perfect for wet dogs and we enjoyed the south facing garden and barbecue. It is a little tired in places but we thought it good value for money. Convenient for eating out in St Merryn and 15 minute walk to the Read morebeach. Hide
