  • With views out towards the sea and St Georges Island
  • Ideal for walking along the South West Coast Path and reaching beaches

Property code: OC-L30009

This light and airy seaside apartment is perfect for a couple or family, alongside their four-legged friend, to get away from it all on the stunning southern Cornish coast. With the benefit of two balconies facing different directions, you can enjoy the early morning sun overlooking Looe Bay and an evening drink whilst watching the sunset.

Step into this welcoming apartment and feel right at home with bright and breezy spaces accented by splashes of coastal blues. Relax and unwind on the plush sofa seating before gathering at the dining table for a family game or delicious meal prepared in the well-equipped kitchen. This light-filled space has access to one of the balconies via glass doors that drink in the views beyond. Soak tired legs in the panelled bathtub before heading to bed in one of two inviting bedrooms, with the king-size master giving access to the other ocean-facing balcony.

The town of Looe has pretty streets leading down to a picturesque harbour and is split into East and West Looe by the river that runs through it. The apartment is located in the Hannafore area of West Looe, where a 100-metre stroll will bring you to Hannafore Beach, a shingle and sand shoreline that canine companions are welcome to enjoy year-round. For a walk to get tails wagging, join the South West Coast Path and take in the spectacular views on a ramble to Talland Bay (2.8 miles). In Looe itself, there are a number of lovely cafes and pubs to choose from, many of them actively encouraging dog owners to bring along their furry friends. Looe is also a fantastic place to enjoy the New Year festivities when many happy party-goers in fancy dress descend upon the town to soak up the atmosphere. However, the fireworks may not be to everyone''s liking, so hounds with sensitive ears should steer clear.

A wonderful apartment this is our 11th visit to Lemain Gardens but 1st stay in Eddystone. A well thought out apartment with everything you could possibly need provided. Well decorated and maintained. Beds really comfy. The two balconies were lovely although used side one the most to relax and enjoy views over Looe Island. We will definitely be backRead more next year and possibly also sneak a visit in October as well. Hide

The many steep steps were the only drawback for an OAP like me. Difficult with heavy bags. The views were lovely and the beds comfortable. Good shower. The key safe was handy allowing us to go our separate ways and all still have access to the property.

Apartment was as lovely as the last time we stayed over New Year. Very well appointed and the welcome gifts and flowers were a lovely touch - thank you.

The apartment was lovely and felt like home from home. The views were fantastic overlooking Looe Bay / Hannafore, and looking West to Looe Island. The apartment was pretty much spotless and well maintained. The little touches from the owner was unexpected and brought a smile to all our faces. Really nice thought out things like Milk and some necesRead moresities, after a long journey down. The apartment did have some pretty steep steps and a ramp to contend with, which me and my partner (44/41 years old) was no problem for, but my parents of 80 years did find it some what harder. The owner had a fantastic idea though of placing a wooden bench in the perfect spot overlooking the sea, half way up. This made the walk up for them a lot easier. This was great anyone who finds walking up those steps tough. My 80 year old parents said they would love to go back so not too much of a issue for them. Hide

This is a lovely apartment to stay in and we have stayed here a few times over the years. Very clean and comfortable and we appreciated the tea, coffee and biscuits left for us. Great balcony with sea views to while away the time if you dont feel like doing too much. There are lots of steps to walk up to get to the apartments from the car parking aRead morerea so you need to have good mobility for this. Worth it once you get there though. Hide

I used to stay in this property as a child when it was a hotel and I was really looking forward to being back. I was not disappointed. The apartment was fabulous and it was great to watch the sunrises from the bed. The apartment is very well appointed and we didn't want for anything. The welcome pack (bubbly, mince pies, biscuits plus tea and coffeRead moree) were a lovely touch. Also, the supply of toilet rolls, hand soap and washing up liquid was a welcome addition as many places do not supply these things. We are hoping to book again for the summer. Thanks for everything.
