Treat yourself to a rural escape on the Llŷn Peninsula where you’ll be surrounded by rolling hills while staying on a working farm. This former farmhouse sleeps up to six human guests and one four-legged friend and is ideal for a family or small group of friends who want to spend time exploring spectacular sandy coastlines, charming fishing villages and craggy peaks. Feel at home in this cosy cottage with bright interiors, traditional features and an enclosed garden.
Hang up your jacket and wipe down muddy paws in the porch and continue into the kitchen/diner where you’ll find a galley kitchen, a wooden-beamed ceiling and a dining table. Put your feet up in the comfortable lounge with a large three-seater sofa and two armchairs in front of the electric fire and TV. Also on the ground floor is a bathroom and a utility room. Upstairs is a family bathroom and three bedrooms – two doubles and a bunk bedroom. Outside is a small patio with furniture and an additional grassy area.
During your stay in the countryside, you’ll be just 4 miles away from the coastal village of Aberdaron. Here you can pick up essential supplies at the local shop, enjoy a pastry from the bakery or dine in at one of the canine-welcoming pubs and restaurants. It’s also an excellent place to explore the coastline from Traeth Aberdaron beach (5.5 miles) along to Abersoch (8.5 miles), Llanbedrog (8 miles) or Porth Neigwl (8 miles). Don’t miss the 16th-century manor house National Trust Plas yn Rhiw (3 miles) which has impressive sea views.
