This stylish and well-presented stone-built cottage is the perfect base for a family gathering on the glorious North Devon coast with fantastic beaches and beautiful countryside all within easy reach. With up to three faithful friends welcome to join you, your entire pack can enjoy a wonderful West Country stay.

Step inside this welcoming home and feel instantly at ease, surrounded by cool contemporary tones and plenty of comfortable places to relax. Put your feet up in the cosy lounge; with its plush sofas, it’s an inviting sight after a day of adventure. Head through to the open-plan kitchen/diner, the fabulously sociable heart of the home, and cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen. On a warm summer’s evening, dine alfresco in the patio garden using the BBQ provided whilst Fido explores the enclosed boundaries. When it comes time for bed or basket, three attractive bedrooms await with inviting beds topped with soft white linens. A stylish family bathroom completes the accommodation.

Well located in the bustling town of Braunton, walk out your door and discover quaint shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants to cater for all tastes, many of which encourage families to bring along their canine companions. The Tarka Trail passes through the town, a 180-mile, figure-of-eight loop inspired by the route travelled by Tarka the Otter. The trail takes in some of North Devon’s most spectacular countryside scenery, with plenty for curious pups to investigate along the way and many other pooches to meet. The sweeping beach of Saunton Sands is less than 3 miles from your door, where, excluding one small area, four-legged friends can roam freely year-round. For history hounds, the National Trust’s Arlington Court (13 miles) is a Regency house with an impressive collection of horse-drawn vehicles set in a picturesque garden. The carriage museum, garden and wider estate are open to both those with four legs and those with two.

Cottage is in a great location in Braunton for access to pubs/restaurants etc. although road noise is present from time to time. The cottage is clean and stylish with all the necessary equipment. The main plus points are close access to Saunton / Croyde / Putsborough / Woolacombe beaches with hidden gems are Crow point and Baggy point etc.

An exceptionally well equipped and comfortable cottage. The only problem is its right next to a busy road which we were not aware of. We will be more thorough with our holiday research in future! Would recommend the cottage if you are not looking for complete peace and quiet.

It was our 2nd visit to this property as we loved it so much last year. This year, we took my parents and they enjoyed the home from home comforts as we did. A great central spot for visits to other places, but a lovely cottage to kick back and relax in the evenings together. We really enjoyed our stay here again this year. Thankyou.
