Enter this gorgeous holiday home on the first floor, where you’ll find three bedrooms - 1 super-king size and 1 king-size bedroom both with en-suite bathrooms, and a twin. Downstairs, the fourth bedroom has bunk-beds with a single above a double bed, and there’s also a family shower room. Cooks will enjoy the spacious kitchen, which boasts integrated appliances and a breakfast bar for two, a great spot for a morning coffee with the newspaper. You will enjoy the extensive views whilst having a family meal at the large dining table and chairs. The lounge is wonderfully bright and appealing, with three sets of French doors leading outside, offering huge amounts of light and, of course, stunning coastal views. Watch the boats come and go from the harbour using the telescope, and relax on the comfortable sofas, your pups by your feet, in front of the wood burner and Smart TV. If you feel like enjoying your meals in the fresh air, simply head on out to the glass-fronted balcony with awning, table and chairs or the lawned garden with terraced areas, the latter equipped with a small BBQ for grilling tasty treats.

The characterful village of Kingswear has colourful buildings, winding streets and gorgeous views across the River Dart. When you’ve explored to your heart’s content, take the ferry across the water to lovely Dartmouth, a pretty harbour town that’s a haven for foodies and has festivals, events, exhibitions and markets taking place all year round. The National Trust’s Coleton Fishacre is only 2 miles away, where dogs on short leads are allowed throughout the gardens and in the shop and café - a cream tea is a must while you’re there.

The views are absolutely stunning from the bedrooms, kitchen, dining room and lounge. The kitchen equipment and extras in the cupboards were excellent, we had a wonderful time and will hopefully book again next year. yes there is a few steep hills to navigate up to the property but the views make it worth it. The weather was excellent and we spenRead moret a lot of time on the balcony watching the comings and goings on the river Dart. Thank you for a lovely stay. Hide

What a wonderful stay. Views from every room. Secure garden for the dogs to explore. Garage was a game changer compared to previous stays in Dartmouth. Just heads up there is a very steep walk up from the ferry, but well worth it when youre sitting on the terrace with a cold one. Definitely will rebook soon for next year.

Dartwood House is fantastic, we recommend unreservedly. We are a group of friends who get together off season every year, and this is possibly the best ever gathering.. the kitchen is really well equipped. The house is warm and comfortable, with a generous supply of logs for the toasty wood burner. Powerful showers, nice bed linen. Had a fantastic week here. The home was spotless, lots of room and the most amazing views. Great communication from Holiday Cottages, very professional. Kingswear is lovely with 2 local pubs, who served great food, a wine bar, cafes and local shop. There is a ferry over to Dartmouth and the Steam Train to Paignton. Note though that Kingswear is verRead morey hilly. This is great for views but may be difficult for people with mobility difficulties. There is a pay and display car park on the Marina which we used for the ferry, shop, pubs etc as my elderly parents couldn't walk up and down the hill, so an easy way around this issue. Hide

We thoroughly enjoyed our family weekend and everything was perfect. Even down to the cupboards having everything we could need, and more. The complimentary basket of goodies was a lovely touch. The view is stunning by day and even more special at night. Thank you.

The cottage was delightful glorious views and very clean . Also well equipped. We have recently sold our holiday home in France where we were very particular . Did not know what to expect after 14 years out of the loop but were very happy. Would highly recommend this property.
