Relish the views from this stunning detached property in picturesque Kingswear. Ideal for a coastal getaway with friends or family and two canine companions, it has a gorgeous balcony for alfresco dining in the summer and a wood burner for cosy evenings in the cooler months.

Enter this gorgeous holiday home on the first floor, where you’ll find three bedrooms - two king-size with en-suite bathrooms, and a twin. Downstairs, the fourth bedroom has bunk-beds with a single above a double bed, and there’s also a family shower room. Cooks will enjoy the spacious kitchen, which boasts integrated appliances and a breakfast bar for two, a great spot for a morning coffee with the newspaper. You will enjoy the extensive views whilst having a family meal at the large dining table and chairs. The lounge is wonderfully bright and appealing, with three sets of French doors leading outside, offering huge amounts of light and, of course, stunning coastal views. Watch the boats come and go from the harbour using the telescope, and relax on the comfortable sofas, your pups by your feet, in front of the wood burner and Smart TV. If you feel like enjoying your meals in the fresh air, simply head on out to the glass-fronted balcony with awning, table and chairs or the lawned garden with terraced areas, the latter equipped with a small BBQ for grilling tasty treats.

The characterful village of Kingswear has colourful buildings, winding streets and gorgeous views across the River Dart. When you’ve explored to your heart’s content, take the ferry across the water to lovely Dartmouth, a pretty harbour town that’s a haven for foodies and has festivals, events, exhibitions and markets taking place all year round. The National Trust’s Coleton Fishacre is only 2 miles away, where dogs on short leads are allowed throughout the gardens and in the shop and café - a cream tea is a must while you’re there.

Great property, very well equipped - even with telescope and binoculars! Views are outstanding from the balcony, especially living room and the super large master bedroom! Just be prepared for quite a climb on foot if you choose to walk from riverside to the property, or you can pay to park in the marina car park. The properties facilities and cleanliness was not to the expected standard. The pictures certainly made it look a lot better than reality. Generally the property is quite tired, for example the patio furniture was in very bad order. The living room rug was grubby.

A few things to fix, no spare toilet tissue, no instructions on how to use the TV and the 5 remote controls and finally not clear on what a "seagull proof container" looked like so had to guess it was a sack when we put the rubbish out. Great location although parking was a challenge for my SUV. The rest was excellent

Comfort of the property downgraded purely because of the lack of heating. Although there was a log burner in the living room, cooking in a cold kitchen and eating evening dinner sat in a coat in a very cold dining room was disappointing. It was not our fault that the cost of heating had escalated since the booking was accepted and it shouldnt be Read morea surprise that England in March can be cold.
