Property code: OC-R579

This beautiful stone cottage is perfectly positioned in a peaceful spot in the heart of Robin Hood''s Bay, within sniffing distance of a breathtaking sheltered cove with miles of soft sand your canine companion will go mutts for.

The ground floor comprises an open-plan kitchen/living/dining room, the perfect welcoming space to relax, complete with a rug reserved for your pup in front of the roaring wood burner housed in a charming inglenook fireplace. Hunker down on the comfy armchairs behind and watch a film on the TV before fetching the local produce you’ve collected to whip up a meal in the contemporary kitchen to be enjoyed as a family around the farmhouse-style wooden dining table. Tuck Rover next to the wood burner or into the dog crate provided and head to the double bedroom on the first floor, which benefits from a beautiful feature fireplace, or lead the way up the winding staircase to the spacious second bedroom on the second floor. Unleash your four-pawed pal into the shared garden so they can sniff around their surroundings as you admire glimpses of the sea.

Robin Hood''s Bay is a picture-perfect fishing village located on the Heritage Coast of the North York Moors. Take the lead to the town centre with your canine companion to wind your way through the maze of cobbled streets and alleyways lined with a variety of vibrant cafes, restaurants, pubs and independent shops. Join the Cleveland Way footpath which passes through the village, running from Helmsley to Filey, offering heather moorland and stunning coastal scenery not to be sniffed at. Treat your pup to an afternoon chasing the tide at Robin Hood’s Bay Beach, less than half a mile away, where they’ll go mutts sniffing out some unique fossils in the plethora of rock pools.

Such a cosy cottage, perfect for a winter stay with a log burner and really well equipped kitchen. It was super clean and had lovely decor with lots of little touches, even the fire was ready to be lit! A permit for the carpark was also a perk.

The location of the cottage was excellent, only a short walk away from the beach and pubs/restaurants. The furniture wasnt very comfortable and not really suited for 5 people as there is only a very small settee and two small arm chairs two sit on in the evening. For the price of the cottage I did not expect to have to remove the rubbish/recycliRead moreng ourselves and take it to a communal bin in the middle of the village. Hide

The cottage was lovely and everything was fine . However we are no longer in covid times and the late entry and early departure which includes stripping all the beds etc and taking the rubbish to the bins a walk away is no longer acceptable. It makes for a stressful end to the holiday. I hope you will review both aspects as I feel its unfair to guRead moreests. We did enjoy our stay. Hide

Cannot fault the general information accuracy presented on the web site .Spotlessly clean, everything you could think of was available in the cottage. Highly delighted with the few days we spent at Storm cottage, RHB. Would strongly recommend.

The cottage is lovely and the location is excellent. The only issue we had is that the sofa in the sitting room is not very comfortable.
