This spacious modern style cottage is set on one of the most photographed, iconic streets in Whitby. Literally a stones throw from the nearby Tate Hill Sands and under the iconic 199 steps leading up to Whitby Abbey, guests can be assured of a fantastic setting to enjoy a Whitby family holiday. Set over three floors there is space for all generations to relax after a day on the beach, enjoy an alfresco meal in the private rear courtyard ( a real rarity in Whitby's old cobbled town). The cottage is comfortable. modern and well equipped and is less than five minutes away from some superb bars and restaurants looking over the harbour. Enjoy all that Whitby has to offer including surfing lessions, historical railways trips and of course the obligitory fish and chips. Only a short bus ride or drive from stunning Robin Hood's Bay families can soak up the Smuggling history of the area while enjoying some local ice - cream. Equipped and finished to a high standard, the cottage really is a great base for any holiday at all times of year.

Beautiful cottage in fantastic location only fault is that booking in is quite late at 4pm and checking out is 9am which is a too early shame as I wouldn't book again for that reason did ask for later checkout but not possible

Great location but needs better cleaning prior to occupancy and maintenance required especially in the bathroom.

The cottage was very attractively finished, full of character and in a lovely street of similar cottages conveniently situated and near to the coast. It was well equipped and had an abundance of towels! Some of the furnishings in the living/dining area were however a little uncomfortable. However, the complete lack of car parking in anywhere near aRead more reasonable distance, despite the parking permit, was a major issue with us. Hide
