Explore the countryside, woodland and the spectacular North Norfolk coast with your delighted dog when you retreat to this holiday home in Stanhoe. Sleeping six guests, this four-bedroom property makes a simply wonderful retreat for both hounds and their humans. With a bright, modern interior and a lovely garden to nose about in, it is a great place to return to after exciting days out with your four-legged friend.

Watch your pal bound inside and discover pretty, airy accommodation to pad about in. The heart of the holiday home is its light-filled, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where you can open the French doors onto the garden on warm days. Light the wood burner to warm chilly paws on colder days and find a film on the TV for everyone to enjoy. Head over to the kitchen to cook up treats for everyone to sit down to at the table. There is also a snug, with another TV, for pets and people needing some quiet time. Also downstairs is a utility room, boot room and WC. Lovely cottage set in quaint village - great for dogs and walkers. Not too far from the coast - about 15-20 mins (only because local roads); we went to Old Hunstanton to take the dogs to the beach. Ffantastic beach wide and not busy but it was a May bank holiday and not the height of summer. Only downside is parking is 5 for 2 hours and disabled Read morepay as well. The path down to the beach is very steep and not suitable for those with walking issues; wheelchairs would also struggle due to how steep the path is. House is fantastic and sleeps 6 - if you have children there is a snug as well as a main open area with kitchen, dining table and settees and TV. Both rooms have adequate seating which is rare in holiday lets. Beds very comfortable with spacious rooms. Parking at the front of the property will take 2/3 cars; garden is lovely and very private. Overall a great place to stay. Hide

A lovely holiday cottage with all the comforts of home and lots of space to relax. It is well placed to enjoy the Norfolk coast with plenty of other places nearby to enjoy.

Beautiful property and garden with everything an extended family needed as well as welcoming 2 pets. We were disappointed with lack of recycling.

Beautiful barn conversion. Very well appointed, spacious and comfortable with everything of a good quality. The garden was perfect for the dog and the utility and boot rooms were very useful. Also all the information about walks and places of interest supplied by the owners was very helpful.

We have stayed in this property for the last 5 years. The toilet in the en-suite hasnt been fixed for the last three. The Barn, Stanhope was an excellent property for our family group of Grandparents, Daughter, husband and three grandchildren from 12 weeks, 3 & 5 years .The large rear kitchen and lounge were perfect for everyday use and the 'snug' was even handier for the children to be noisy at play whilst the 12 week baby tried to sleep!! The utility had everythRead moreing we needed including a hose outside the utility door to clean the dogs after a day on the beach. Beds were comfortable and roomy, bathrooms and showers all good. The Spar at Docking was far bigger than it looks and well stocked, our meal at the Duck inn was very good and just 20 minutes from a number of beaches - it was a great place to stay Hide
