Surrounded by acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, you’re in the perfect location to explore North Yorkshire’s spectacular coast, moors and wolds. The village has its own footpath down to the beach, which is around 500 meters from your door. With 5 miles of golden sand, this is the ideal place for sunbathing, sandcastle-building, walking, picnicking and playing beach games. Filey is around 3 miles away, which you can reach either by walking along the coast path or over the sands when the tide is out, finding shops and places to eat and drink – a portion of fresh fish and chips is a must. The larger seaside towns of Scarborough and Bridlington, both packed with attractions, are each just 8 miles away.
Step up and onto the deck, then through the front door directly into the open-plan living space, which is full of light thanks to the sliding doors. This welcoming space has been beautifully designed, using sophisticated, neutral tones combined with natural textures to create a sanctuary of calm. Underfloor heating throughout ensures this lovely holiday getaway is comfortable all year round, and for extra warmth and glowing flames in the winter, there’s also a wood burner. After a day at the beach, gather round the Smart TV and enjoy a favourite film or must-see series. The kitchen includes all the equipment you’ll need for preparing tasty meals for everyone, and the dining table can seat up to six people for hearty breakfasts or leisurely suppers. Along the hallway, you’ll find two bedrooms: a serene king-size with ample storage and an en-suite, and a twin which uses a family shower room. Both bedrooms have Smart TVs, ready for long lie-ins.
