Stretch furry legs with walks along the coast and across the verdant common when you stay at this welcoming Isle of Wight bolthole. Sleeping just two guests, the one-bedroom, pup-friendly hideaway is situated near Norton Green, 2.5 miles from Yarmouth. Discover the beauty of the western side of the Isle of Wight, then return to spend cosy nights in with your canine companion.
Enter the annexe via its own front door. Despite being set close to the owner’s home, the friendly retreat benefits from great privacy. Find yourselves in a sun-soaked, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner where you can rest weary feet and paws. Sink into the plump-cushioned sofa, while your pal stretches out on the soft carpet. Chat, read your books or watch the Smart TV before feeding your furry friend and conjuring up a feast for yourselves in the kitchen. Make fresh coffee in the machine to enjoy at the table or carry it through to the conservatory. At the end of each enjoyable day away together, pat your tired hound goodnight and amble through to your double bedroom. Treat yourself to a refreshing shower in the wet room before making breakfast. Unfortunately, there is no outside space with this Isle of Wight abode, but you and your chum can wander just 100 metres to the green, open expanses of a nearby common. Parking is on the street, subject to availability.
Make your way just 2 miles to the beautiful surroundings of Afton Park to stroll across the downs together. Pack a picnic, pocket some puppy treats and venture less than 1 mile down to the beach at Totland Bay. Here, your chum can splash in the shallows along much of the beach all year round. From the bay, you can also head out along a section of the coast path.
