Step inside this charming stone cottage and feel instantly at home in warm, welcoming spaces. The living room offers plenty of space to lounge on comfortable sofa seating, and the open fire is sure to be popular with the four-pawed members of your group. The stylish contemporary kitchen/diner has splashes of ocean-blue tiles that are a nod to the cottage''s coastal setting. It is well equipped, making mealtimes a breeze. A small courtyard can be found to the rear of the property, but the best views to be had are from the patio to the front, where you can enjoy riverside scenes along with your morning coffee. At the end of the day, take a relaxing soak in the bathroom or a refreshing shower in the separate shower room before heading to bed in one of two inviting bedrooms with the double room looking out onto the babbling river beyond.
The twin villages of Lynton and Lynmouth are linked by road and by an incredible cliff railway. Powered purely by water, it’s the only one of its kind still in operation worldwide, and four-legged friends are welcome to ride with you. Thirst-quenching bowls of water are provided both upon entry and exit. Lynmouth''s expansive shingle beach is 300 metres from your door, where hounds can investigate exciting sights, sounds and smells at their leisure year-round. Alternatively, strike out along the South West Coast Path, which passes right through the village, leading to spectacular cliff-top scenery in a walk to get tails wagging. After all that exercise, you and your pooch will be in need of refreshment, and fortunately, both the village''s pubs warmly welcome pups of all shapes and sizes, and where you will often find a doggie treat awaiting their arrival.
