This cabin sits 1 mile from Porthcothan Beach on Cornwall's north coast – a deep inlet flanked by rocky headlands with a broad sweep of sand at low tide. Designed for two, it provides a romantic coastal break along one of the county's quieter stretches of shoreline, where the focus is on sea and sand rather than crowds. At least ten beaches lie along this part of the coast, including Treyarnon Bay (1.5 miles) with its golden sand and the scenic coastal path to Constantine Bay, plus Harlyn Bay (2.5 miles) and Mother Ivey's Bay (3 miles) further around the headland. Bedruthan Steps (3.5 miles) and the Camel Trail (8 miles) are both within reach, the latter offering an easy, scenic cycling route through the Cornish countryside. Padstow (4.5 miles), with its harbour and independent shops, sits beyond the headland. Mawgan Porth Beach (5 miles) and Watergate Bay (7.5 miles) extend the choice even further.
The open-plan living area, kitchen, and dining space sit at the centre of the cabin, with double patio doors drawing in natural light and opening onto the garden. In the large bedroom, a super-king-size zip-and-link bed (that can be made into 2 standard singles if requested) is dressed in 400-thread-count sheets. The private, enclosed garden is designed around a coastal theme with flintstone chips and decorative touches. The loose gravel surface may be uneven underfoot.
